I first tried this tahini iced coffee to add a nourishing boost to my morning routine, and now it's my favorite way to start the day with a bit of Middle Eastern flair.

Ingredients

  • Coffee: 1 ½ cups (360 ml) cold brew coffee or strong chilled coffee
  • Tahini Blend: 3 tablespoons tahini (well-stirred), 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (to taste), ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract, pinch of sea salt
  • Milk & Ice: ½ cup (120 ml) plant-based milk (e.g. almond, oat, or soy), 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare Tahini Mixture:
In a small bowl or pitcher, whisk together tahini, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and sea salt until smooth and fully combined.
Prepare Glasses:
Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes.
Brew and Pour:
Divide the cold brew coffee evenly between the glasses.
Add Tahini Mixture:
Add the tahini mixture to each glass and stir well to combine.
Top and Serve:
