Kitchen Guide

How do I arrange the snack board into a tree shape?

Start by sketching a rough tree outline on your board if desired. Arrange broccoli and sugar snap peas as branches, use cucumber slices for edges, and place cheese cubes and wedges across the branches. Fill gaps with fruits and nuts, forming the trunk with crackers.

Can this arrangement be made vegetarian or vegan?

Yes, omit the salami and prosciutto for a vegetarian version. For vegan, use plant-based cheeses and skip charcuterie, ensuring all dips are vegan-friendly.

What are some good dips to serve alongside?

Classic hummus and whole grain mustard pair well, offering creamy and tangy contrasts to the cheeses and fruits on the board.

How long can the board be prepared ahead of time?

Prepare the board up to a few hours in advance, then refrigerate until serving to maintain freshness and flavor.

Are there allergen concerns with this snack board?

Yes, it contains dairy, tree nuts, and possibly gluten from crackers. Gluten-free crackers and nut substitutions can accommodate allergies.
