Kitchen Guide

Can I use fresh shrimp instead of frozen?

Yes, fresh shrimp will work well and may reduce cooking time slightly. Adjust accordingly to avoid overcooking.

Is it necessary to break the pasta before cooking?

Breaking the pasta helps it fit and cook evenly under pressure inside the pot, ensuring consistent texture.

Can I substitute heavy cream with a lighter option?

Half-and-half can be used for a lighter sauce, but may result in a less creamy texture. Adjust seasoning as needed.

What can I add for extra vegetables?

Frozen peas are included, but fresh spinach or sautéed mushrooms also complement the dish nicely.

How should I adjust seasoning to taste?

After cooking, taste and add salt, pepper, or lemon juice to brighten flavors according to preference.
