Save Kitchen Guide

Assemble tartlets in advance and refrigerate. Bake just before serving for best texture.
- → What can I substitute for cranberry sauce?
Fig or apricot preserves make excellent alternatives, adding a different but complementary sweetness.
- → How do I prevent the pastry edges from browning too fast?
Brushing edges lightly with egg wash helps achieve a golden, evenly baked crust without burning.
- → Can I omit pistachios?
Yes, pistachios are optional and can be left out for a nut-free version without sacrificing flavor.
