This butter board dessert version became an instant hit at my last get-together & everyone enjoyed customizing their slices with berries and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • Flavoured Cream Cheese: 250 g (8 oz) cream cheese softened 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup 1 tsp pure vanilla extract zest of 1 small lemon (optional)
  • Toppings: 150 g (1 cup) mixed fresh berries (strawberries blueberries raspberries blackberries) 2 tbsp chopped toasted pistachios or almonds 1 tbsp dried edible rose petals (optional) 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips or shavings 2 tbsp granola (optional) 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves torn
  • To Serve: 1 French baguette or loaf of brioche sliced and lightly toasted extra honey or maple syrup for drizzling
