- Nuts & Seeds: 50 g roasted pistachios roughly chopped, 50 g roasted almonds roughly chopped
- Dried Fruits: 40 g dried apricots diced, 30 g dried figs diced, 20 g golden raisins
- Spices & Garnishes: 1/2 tsp ground cardamom, 1/4 tsp sea salt flakes, Edible gold leaf or rose petals (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Step 2:
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water (double boiler) stirring until smooth. Remove from heat
- Step 3:
- Stir in the ground cardamom
- Step 4:
- Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into a 1/4-inch (0.5 cm) thick rectangle using a spatula
- Step 5:
- Evenly sprinkle the chopped pistachios almonds dried apricots figs and raisins over the chocolate
- Step 6:
- Lightly press the toppings into the chocolate to help them adhere
- Step 7:
- Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and if using edible gold leaf or rose petals
- Step 8:
- Refrigerate for at least 45 minutes or until completely set
- Step 9:
