01 -  In a medium bowl or jar, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, salt, dried cranberries, chopped pecans, and cinnamon. 
 02 -  Stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure an even distribution of all components. 
 03 -  Cover the bowl or seal the jar and refrigerate overnight, or for a minimum of 8 hours, so the oats and chia seeds can absorb the liquid and soften. 
 04 -  In the morning, stir the oats well and, if a thinner consistency is preferred, add a splash of additional milk. 
 05 -  Serve chilled, garnishing with fresh cranberries or extra chopped pecans as desired.
