Spicy-sweet sandwich with turkey, cranberry, and jalapeño toasted golden in an air fryer.

01 - 4 slices sourdough bread
02 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

→ Cheese

03 - 4 slices Swiss cheese (or cheddar as preferred)

04 - 4 oz cooked turkey breast, sliced

05 - 2 tbsp cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
06 - 1 fresh jalapeño, thinly sliced (seeds removed for less heat)

→ Optional

07 - 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened (optional for extra creaminess)

# Method:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
02 - Evenly spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
03 - On the unbuttered side of each bread slice, layer the ingredients starting with 1 tbsp cream cheese if using, then one slice of Swiss cheese, half of the turkey slices, 1 tbsp cranberry sauce, half the jalapeño slices, another slice of cheese, and top with the second bread slice, buttered side facing out.
04 - Place the assembled sandwiches into the air fryer basket and cook at 375°F (190°C) for 6 to 7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bread is golden brown and cheese has melted.
05 - Allow sandwiches to cool for 1 minute, then slice in half and serve immediately.
