10 - 2 black grapes or blueberries (for shark eyes)
11 - 2 slices mini marshmallow or banana (for shark eyes whites)
12 - Fresh mint leaves
# Method:
01 - Slice a thin piece off the base of the watermelon to ensure it sits flat on the platter.
02 - Cut a wedge from one end of the watermelon to create the shark's open mouth and use a melon baller to scoop out most of the flesh, reserving the balls for decorating the board.
03 - Use a paring knife to carve triangular teeth along the edge of the mouth.
04 - Secure the eyes above the mouth with toothpicks by stacking a mini marshmallow or banana slice with a black grape or blueberry for each eye.
05 - Place the reserved watermelon balls spilling from the shark’s mouth onto a large serving platter.
06 - Surround the shark with strawberries, blueberries, halved grapes, pineapple chunks, sliced kiwi, and orange segments in colorful wave patterns.
07 - Fill remaining spaces with pretzel sticks, cheese cubes, and fresh mint leaves for garnish.
08 - Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.
