# Components:
→ Dough
01 - 1 ball (8.8 oz) pizza dough, either store-bought or homemade
→ Sauce
02 - 2/3 cup crème fraîche
03 - 1 clove garlic, minced
04 - 1 teaspoon fresh dill, finely chopped
05 - 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
06 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
→ Toppings
07 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - 1/2 cup sliced dill pickles
09 - 1 tablespoon red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, for garnish
# Method:
01 - Set the oven to 480°F or the highest temperature it allows. Position a pizza stone inside the oven if using for optimal crust texture.
02 - On a lightly floured work surface, stretch or roll pizza dough into a 12-inch round. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel for easy handling.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine crème fraîche, minced garlic, chopped dill, lemon zest, and season well with salt and black pepper. Stir until fully incorporated.
04 - Evenly spread the crème fraîche mixture over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust.
05 - Scatter shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce to cover thoroughly.
06 - Distribute sliced dill pickles and a layer of red onions over the cheese.
07 - Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and mozzarella is bubbling.
08 - Remove from oven, garnish with fresh dill, slice, and serve immediately while hot.
