Layered dip styled as a football field with beans, guacamole, cheese, and fresh toppings.
# Components:
→ Base Layers
01 - 16 fl oz refried beans
02 - 8 fl oz sour cream
03 - 8 fl oz guacamole
04 - 8 fl oz salsa
05 - 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
06 - 4 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
→ Toppings & Decoration
07 - 4 fl oz sliced black olives
08 - 4 fl oz chopped tomatoes
09 - 2 fl oz sliced green onions
10 - 2 fl oz chopped fresh cilantro
11 - 4 fl oz shredded lettuce
12 - 4 fl oz sour cream (for piping yard lines)
13 - 2 tablespoons sliced jalapeños (optional)
→ Dippers
14 - 2 bags tortilla chips
15 - 1 bag pretzel sticks (optional for goal posts)
# Method:
01 - Evenly spread the refried beans over a large rectangular platter to form the foundational layer.
02 - Carefully spread sour cream atop the beans, leaving approximately a 1-inch border around the edges.
03 - Spoon guacamole evenly over the sour cream layer, smoothing it into a bright green rectangle resembling a football field.
04 - Spread salsa evenly along the edges outside the guacamole area, then sprinkle shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the salsa border.
05 - Pipe yard lines and end zones on the guacamole using reserved sour cream and a piping bag or zip-top bag. Arrange sliced black olives as players along the edges, sprinkle chopped tomatoes, green onions, and cilantro over the cheese borders, and add shredded lettuce at both ends to simulate turf.
06 - If desired, position pretzel sticks at both ends of the field to represent mini goal posts.
07 - Present immediately with tortilla chips on the side for dipping.
